Terms of Service

The rules for CrewCut accounts, video uploads, storage plans, review links, comments, and use of the service.

Terms of Service

Working draft · Effective date to be set before launch

These terms apply when you visit CrewCut, create an account, upload or organize a video, create a review link, or watch and comment through a review link. “CrewCut” means the video storage and review service described here. The service operator’s legal name and address have not yet been supplied; those details must be added before these terms are published as final.

The service

CrewCut lets account holders upload videos, keep them in a library and folders, and share review links. People with a review link may watch the video and leave comments at timestamps without creating an account. The account holder can manage or disable links and organize or delete videos. Feature availability and storage or bandwidth limits depend on the plan shown in the account.

Your account

You may sign in using an email magic link or Google sign-in where available. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, subject to applicable law.

Your videos and review links

You keep your rights in the videos, comments, and other material you submit. You give CrewCut and its service providers permission to store, process, transcode, and deliver that material as needed to run the features you choose. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it.

A review link gives access to the content and comments made available through that link. Anyone who receives a link may be able to open it. Share links only with people you intend to include, use available expiry or access controls, and disable a link when it should no longer work. Reviewers should not post personal or confidential information in a comment unless they intend to share it with people who can access that review.

Storage, bandwidth, and plans

Each plan has storage and monthly delivery limits. The plan name, price, limits, billing interval, and renewal date shown in CrewCut or at checkout apply to your account. If a limit is reached, uploads or video playback may be paused until the limit resets or your plan changes. Extra storage requested through the service may be quoted separately; a request is not a purchase until you accept the quote.

Payments and account changes

Paid subscriptions may renew automatically on the schedule shown at checkout. You can manage a subscription through the billing controls in your account when available. Details about cancellation and refund requests are in Payments, cancellation and refunds. Account deletion removes account content as described in the Privacy Notice, while invoice records may be retained for accounting and legal requirements.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature to maintain or improve the service, address security or abuse, or comply with law. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice when a change materially affects active users. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using CrewCut and request account deletion through the account controls or by contacting support. We may restrict or suspend access when needed to address a security risk, suspected misuse, a legal requirement, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

Liability and governing terms

The final provisions on warranties, liability limits, dispute handling, and governing law require review and approval by the service operator before publication. Any final terms will preserve rights that applicable law does not allow a service to limit.
